NANTA Tickets: Confirm the Theater Before Collecting Your Seats

Read the theater name on your NANTA confirmation before planning the trip. Myeongdong and Hongdae are different venues on different floors. The show’s name alone will not take you to the correct ticket box.

Read Myeongdong 3F or Hongdae B2 · Retrieve the booking number · Collect tickets before the show · Follow the usher and access plan · Theatre levels and an illustrative ticket-pickup clock.

Save the correct theater and floor

The official pages give Myeongdong NANTA at 3F, 26 Myeongdong-gil, Jung-gu, in the UNESCO Building; Hongdae NANTA at B2, 29 Yanghwa-ro 16-gil, Mapo-gu. Save the Korean show name and full address from your own ticket. For Hongdae the operator describes Hongik University Station Exit 9; for Myeongdong it describes the stairway between Euljiro 1-ga Exits 5 and 6. Use the relevant direction page, not the other venue’s route.

Bring the completed booking to the ticket box

Both venue pages say ticket pickup starts one hour before the performance, with reservation number or ID at the ticket box. Keep the completed confirmation ready and check date, time, visitor count and seat category. If you bought a discount that requires proof, such as a student offer, bring the required document. Otherwise the operator may require the price difference; a promotional price in a search result is not your verified ticket.

Arrive before the show, not just before closing

Late entry follows the usher’s instructions and can involve a seat different from the one purchased. Do not assume arriving during the first scene guarantees the reserved seat or access. If delayed, contact the theater or booking provider and follow staff directions on arrival. Read cancellation terms for your actual purchase channel before the deadline; delay is not an automatic refund reason.

Confirm access arrangements before purchase

For wheelchair use, contact the operator before buying. The Myeongdong page describes a rear building entrance, stairs at the seating entrance and narrow aisles; designated seating therefore is not a general promise of a step-free route. Hongdae has its own designated-seat and floor guidance. Ask about your specific chair and assistance requirements rather than transfer one theater’s access details to the other.

A worked example

Hypothetical plan: your Myeongdong show begins at 17:00. The stated ticket-box opening is 16:00. Choose a target arrival such as 16:30, then add your actual station-to-theater walk before that time. A pin for Hongdae would be the wrong venue regardless of how early you arrive. If your route needs step-free access, confirm the entrance and seating route first.
