Save the exhibition’s venue name as well as “DDP”. The complex has separate Art Hall, Museum and Design Lab spaces; reaching the building does not mean you have found the entrance for your ticket.

Copy the venue from your actual booking
Write down event title, venue, floor, date, entry time and ticket provider from the completed booking. Keep the original Korean venue label if supplied. An admission voucher for a specific show does not automatically include another exhibition or the rooftop tour. If the voucher only says DDP, open the event page or ask its provider for the room before arriving.

Use the official space and program pages
The operator’s English site offers “Floor Plan”, “VR Map”, “Directions” and “All Schedules”, with separate Art Hall, Museum and Design Lab entries. Match the complete venue label to those pages; do not choose a door from its shape in a photograph. If a program is not visible in one category, search its exact title rather than treat a different event with similar dates as your booking.
Check exhibition hours separately
The general guide lists 10:00–20:00, but says hours vary by space. Use the exhibition’s own last-entry and closing times. The operator also has a notices section, including a Design Lab third-floor temporary-closure notice; a notice title alone does not establish every room’s current status. Check the specific room and visit date, especially before buying a timed ticket.

Arrive at the complex, then follow the venue
Seoul tourism identifies Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station on Lines 2, 4 and 5, Exit 1, for DDP at 동대문디자인플라자, 서울 중구 을지로 281. Do not confuse that station with Dongdaemun Station. After reaching the complex, follow the venue signs or show your room name at the information desk. For unresolved access, the DDP contact is +82-2-2153-0000.

A worked example
Hypothetical booking: your confirmation names “Museum” and an entry slot, while a friend’s ticket names “Art Hall”. Meet outside first, then follow your separate venue labels. Do not assume the two tickets share a queue or entrance. If your floor also appears in a closure notice, confirm that show’s current access before leaving the station.
