Seoul Tiger Bus Hop-On Hop-Off: Plan Stops Around the Last Bus

Seoul Tiger Bus’s daytime route lets you get off and board again with the same day pass. The useful planning step is to check the last bus at each chosen stop, not to collect as many stops as possible.

At-a-glance sequence
  1. Select day product
  2. Collect boarding pass
  3. Pick priority stops
  4. Check each last bus
A loop has several stop circles; two selected stops connect to a clock and an alternative rail route.

Buy the daytime product and collect the pass

The Downtown, Palaces & Namsan Course is the daytime hop-on/hop-off product. The operator currently lists 15 stops. Its page says online booking is available until the day before; same-day purchase is at the Gwanghwamun ticket booth.

For an online booking, give your name at the booth to receive the boarding pass, then show that pass to the driver. Save 68-2 Taepyeong-ro 1-ga, Jung-gu, near Koreana Hotel: Gwanghwamun Line 5 Exit 6 or City Hall Lines 1/2 Exit 3. Verify the operator name on your voucher.

Use the stop row in the timetable

The pass is valid for the day, but seats are unreserved. If a vehicle is full, you may need the next one. The published interval is approximately 25 minutes, with possible traffic and event delays. Unlimited boarding is not an unlimited operating day.

Choose two or three priority stops and record their last useful departure from the stop-specific timetable. The last departure from Gwanghwamun is not the same clock time at every later stop. Check museum or palace opening separately and leave a backup subway route.

Night touring is a different booking

The night product is a set sightseeing tour with a listed photo stop, not the same all-day hop-on/hop-off arrangement. Select the actual product and date rather than assuming one pass covers both.

The daytime page currently closes Mondays, with holiday-Monday service and a Tuesday closure instead. Check notices for your date. If a palace is the purpose, confirm its closure too; a running bus does not make a closed attraction open.

A worked example

For a palace plus N Seoul Tower, put the attraction with the earlier admission deadline first. At the second stop, keep both the last tour-bus departure and a separate public-transport return saved.

Common questions

Does online payment give me a reserved seat?

Seats are first come, first served; collect the boarding pass as instructed.

Can I board again at any time?

Only within the route’s operating day and the timetable for that stop.
